Alexia and Tracy King at Sharon Park Pick n Pay getting signatures on the petition.

19 March 2016

"Our very first grassroots petition signing today! Two people dedicated to getting our rhino upgraded and more determined than ever. We met some amazing people and our signers came from all of our diverse cultures! South Africans agreeing that this is our fight now!! Thanks to John and Phivos the owners of Sharon Park Pick n Pay for allowing us the ongoing opportunity of using your premises to assist us! Hard days and months ahead of us. Thank you to Tracy King for your support and tremendous help. Any more volunteers out there in South Africa? Or will it just be a handful against 58 million South Africans?

The challenge is huge, but recently a police officer said to me; "Dont give up Lex,  it only takes one match to light a fire!"

THIS IS OUR FIGHT NOW SOUTHERN AFRICA!! Please sign the petition online and I am begging you for help nationally. PLEASE? ANYONE who can afford a few hours a week and on a weekend in all cities around South Africa, please inbox me, Jane Acott, or Tracy King..The support brought in 230 signatures. Not bad for a few hours, hey?"

- Lex

And to volunteers:  Xolani Khumaloe, Bheki kaLokothwayo, Christine Jordaan, and young Talent.
